NOTE: This song came out as whistleblower protests started, leading to the 2014 coup (I posted a translation around 12-28-13). This is not strictly speaking a Carabao song, but Aed Carabao sings the opening lines. I post it as a record of where people stood leading up to the coup:

ทะเลาะกันไปได้อะไรขึ้นมา หรือคิดแค่ว่าจะเอาชนะท่าเดียว

Think of the various different things that change [over time]

*The word ”greng jai” ( เกรงใจ) has no equivalent in English, but it means feeling compelled (from within) to be polite. So I think the song is asking, Aren’t we putting Mother, Father, and Older Sibling in an awkward position with our fighting (such that they are afraid to take sides and say anything that might offend)?

**I don’t know what that means.
