Note: The songs “Luuk Hin” (“Stone Child”) and ‎“Luuk Geow”(“Glass Child”), the 3rd and 4th songs on the album Made in Thailand are a set and are often played together in concert. The Stone Child is the poor child who was brought up right, and the Glass Child is the rich child who was spoiled. These are the 3rd and 4th songs on the album “Made in Thailand.” The musical style of “Luuk Hin” (the original classic version) is reminiscent of Jethro Tull.

“Reet ring,” the grasshopper loudly sings,

chom săeng jan-traa wâa pay-la non
praising the light of the moon, saying, Relax and sleep
ราตรีนี้มีเราเพียงสองคน
raa-dtree née mee rao piang sŏng kon
This night there is only the two of us
ผ่านความทุกข์ทนตรากตรําทํางาน
pàan kwaam túk ton dtràak-dtram tam ngaan
Get past the suffering, persevere, and work
นอนเถิดลูกรัก พักผ่อนให้สบาย

Sleep, sweet child, rest happily
