From Thai Wikipedia: จ่าง แซ่ตั้ง Jang Sedtang (in English, Tang Chang) was an influential Thai artist, poet, and painter of Chinese decent. He did abstract painting using his finger instead of a brush and in his writing he had a particular idiosyncrasy where he didn’t use the Thai repeat symbol, ๆ , for repeated words, but instead wrote the words out however many times. Here is a video of his work. The official song lyrics below are apparently imitating this style; for instance, the repeated words คำ คำ คำ are written out, whereas you would ordinarily see คำๆๆ. In the Wikipedia entry for “Tao,” “Tao or Dao . . . is a Chinese word signifying ‘way’, ‘path’, ‘route’, ‘key’ or sometimes more loosely ‘doctrine’ or ‘principle’. Within the context of traditional Chinese philosophy and religion, the Tao is the intuitive knowing of “life” that cannot be grasped full-heartedly as just a concept but is known nonetheless through actual living experience of one’s everyday being.” It is unsurprising that Khun Add would write about an artist because he used to be an architect. (His identical twin Eed Opakul is, if I understand correctly, an interior decorator or art dealer).
