This might be one of the saddest songs every written. This song is about a terrorist attack on a school. According to Wikipedia, in the South of Thailand, “School teachers, principals, and students have been killed and schools torched presumably because schools represent the Thai Government.” The perspective is that of a child asking, “Why?” Every “I”, “me” or “my” in the song is actually the word used by a child for “I”, “me” or “my.”
