NOT A TRANSLATION. “Keep Joy” is one of a handful of Aed Carabao songs written in English and it is wonderful! I just wanted to make you aware of it. There is both an English and a Thai version of this song on the pink album Gan Chon Ma. The Thai version is slightly different, and the title of the Thai version translates “Each Person, Their Own Wounds.

Bob Latini, who did the English-language adaptation at the request of Add Carabao, says the words and title “Keep Joy” come from words in the Thai version “จิ๊บจ๊อย” that sound like (but don’t mean) “Keep Joy.” Actually “จิ๊บจ๊อย” means, ‘It’s trifling” or “It’s insignificant.” (For the Thai version of the song, I translate these words, “It’s no big deal.”)
