From the Album กัมพูชา Kampucha (Cambodia), Khun Aed’s first solo album which came out 30 years ago, in 1984. When this song was written, the genocide in Cambodia (1975-1979) was a very recent and salient memory. Thailand is of course a neighboring country to Cambodia.

*A ผ้าขาวม้า pakaoma is a multipurpose piece of cloth worn in different ways by men in this region: wrapped around the waist like a short sarong or shorts, around the waist as a belt, or around the head.
**A ผ้าขาวม้า (pakama) is often used to cover the bodies of dead people lying on the ground. So the pakama that is blown by the wind and falls to the ground brings refers to the many dead bodies that need to be covered.
