Note: I can’t find an official Carabao YouTube for this interesting fast-picking banjo song, so if you want to hear it please google the title in Thai plus “แอ๊ด คาราบาว” (Add Carabao). This song is very old, and so is probably not about global warming. However it could easily be repurposed for the issue of global warming, which will have devastating consequences for equatorial countries such as Thailand. You may have wondered, whether Add Carabao has ever written a song that explicitly mentions global warming? Yes, in 2016 he did write one, probably on commission, and it’s called หวงแหนป่า Huang-Haen Bpaa (Cherish the Forest). This current song is better than that one.

*A fellow translator guesses that “ระดม” is used instead of “ร้อนระอุ” because it rhymes with กลมๆ of the previous line. “ร้อนระดม” is not understandable. “ร้อนระอุ” would be baking hot.
