Old Man Am is a child of the ocean in a southern city
พำนักอาศัย อยู่ชายฝั่งทะเล
pam-nák aa-săi yòo chaai fàng tá-lay
Lives on the shore of the ocean
เติบโต มากับเรือตังเก
dtèrp dtoh maa gàp reua dtang-gay
Grows up with the fishing boat
อาชีพชาวเล เป็นชาวประมง
aa-chêep chaao lay bpen chaao bprà-mong
The profession of a sea person is fishing

สมบัติ คือเรือลำเก่า
sŏm-bàt keu reua lam gào
[His] property is an old boat
อายุรุ่นราว รุ่นคราวคนเฒ่า
