dèk chaai kon nán doo ngŏi ngăo
That boy looks lonesome
ในมือของเขามีทินเนอร์
nai meu kŏng kăo mee tin-ner
In his hand is paint thinner
เด็กหญิงคนนั้นดูซึมเซา
dèk yĭng kon nán doo seum sao
That girl looks dull and drowsy
ทั้งเธอและเขาดมทินเนอร์
táng ter láe kăo dom tin-ner
The two of them are sniffing paint thinner
ฉันผ่านไปพบประสบเจอ
chăn pàan bpai póp bprà-sòp jer
I run across them
จึงรํ่าร้องบอกเธอถึงอันตราย
jeung râm róng bòk ter tĕung an-dtà-raai
and so warn them about the danger

ดวงตะวันฉายแสงสดใส
duang dtà-wan chăai săeng sòt săi
The sun shines brightly (in the morning)*
เขาสะบัดผิวกายบิดแขนขาไหล่
kăo sà-bàt pĭw gaai bìt kăen kăa lài
They shake themselves and stretch their legs and arms
ที่ซึมเซาเมาพับหลับไป
têe seum sao mao páp làp bpai
trying to drag themselves out of intoxication
หลังจากดมลมร้าย…เขารุมล้อม
lăng jàak dom lom ráai … kăo rum lóm
after smelling the fumes . . . that they crowd around

wăng mom duang jìt duang jai hâi nĕua kwaam wûn waai .. nai săng-kom
with hopes to intoxicate the heart and mind to get over the chaos … in society

krai chom yàa sŏm naam nâa
Whoever is watching don’t [say] “serves them right”
ผ่านมาอย่าให้ร้ายเขา
pàan maa yàa hâi ráai kăo
[If you] pass by don’t blame them
ไถ่ถามเหตุผลกลเมา
tài tăam hàyt pŏn gon mao
Inquire the reason for this method of getting high
ว่าหมองเศร้าสิ่งใดจึงใช้ดม…จึงใช้ดม
wâa mŏng sâo sìng dai jeung chái dom … jeung chái dom
Say, “What makes you so sad that you use and inhale? . . . that you use and inhale?”

The problem is psychological. If one step is wrong, walk on to another place.
